Before the Surgery
Today, I had a consultation at View Plastic Surgery for revision rhinoplasty, 3types facial contouring, and facial fat grafting. I had a rhinoplasty five years ago, but I wasn't happy with the natural height and the tip of my nose. I decided to undergo a glamorous revision surgery. While I didn't have a major complex, I had concerns about my volume-less face and an undefined jawline, so I decided to discuss three-dimensional facial contouring and fat grafting as well. I preferred having all the procedures done in one place rather than at different clinics. Since facial contouring is a significant surgery, I spent a long time researching and finally found a place that I felt satisfied with during today's consultation. The medical facilities were excellent, and everyone was very kind, making the consultation comfortable. Instead of telling my surgeon exactly what kind of nose and face shape I wanted, I explained the areas I was concerned about, and they understood me accurately during the consultation. I had some ambitious ideas, but when I mentioned them, my doctor firmly told me what was my limitation and was completely honest that realistically it was not possible. That actually increased my trust. I'm already looking forward to seeing the results, and I can't wait for the surgery day.

Day 3 :
It has been three days since I had the revision rhinoplasty, 3-types facial contouring, and facial fat grafting. Today, I went to the clinic for removal of the cotton inside my nose, disinfection of the incision areas, and also to get my shampoo service. On the day of the surgery, I felt uncomfortable and in pain due to the cotton and the blood inside my nose, and I regretted my decision. However, the nurses checked on me frequently, and now that the cotton and the drainage tube have been removed, I really feel like I'm on the road to recovery. I don't have any bruising, and the swelling, which was so severe that I worried my face might explode, has improved a lot by the third day. I can't open my mouth wide, and I don't have much appetite, so I’ve only been drinking pumpkin juice and taking medications. But after hearing about how eating well and exercising will help the swelling go down faster, I’m planning to start eating more liquid-based foods and to take walks starting from today. The lower part of my face is still swollen, so I can't fully assess it, but my cheekbones have already become more defined and smoother! As I anticipate the swelling to continue subsiding, I'm filled with excitement and anticipation.
1 week :
It has been seven days since I had the revision rhinoplasty, 3-types facial contouring, and facial fat grafting. I visited the clinic to have the nasal splint and jaw tape removed, and to meet my doctor. I was most concerned about my nose, so I arrived at the clinic with mixed feelings. I arrived on time and went straight into the treatment room. I was a bit scared about removing the stitches because I'm a bit of a drama queen, but it wasn't painful at all. Removing the nasal splint was a bit uncomfortable, though. After the treatment, I looked in the mirror and started thinking that maybe I had been unnecessarily worried. I had told the surgeon that I valued the forehead-to-nose line and the tip of my nose more than having an excessively high nose, and when I looked in the mirror, my desired features were exactly there. It's amazing to see that my cheekbones have become smoother from any angle, and as for my jawline, I need to wait a bit longer to assess it since it's still swollen. I returned home feeling very satisfied especially after hearing from my doctor that the surgery was successful.
2 weeks :
It has been two weeks since I had the revision rhinoplasty, 3-types facial contouring, and facial fat grafting. Today, I visited the clinic to have the stitches inside my mouth removed and received high-frequency treatments for the swelling. When the stitches inside my mouth were being removed, I shed a few tears, but now that all the stitches have been removed, I feel so happy. As long as I manage the swelling diligently, everything will be fine. I check my face in the mirror every day, and I can visibly see the swelling reducing, which brings me so much joy. As the swelling subsides, my facial lines are becoming more defined, and I'm especially delighted with my nose line. It's exactly how I wanted it. My jawline is gradually becoming more visible too. It was fascinating to see from the side how the line from below my ears to the tip of my jaw is smooth and continuous. From the front, my cheeks still look a bit puffy like a hamster, but I'm managing the swelling by drinking pumpkin juice diligently!
3 weeks :
Now it's the third week, and my mouth opens well, the sensation in my lips has almost returned, and I can pronounce words properly. I don't feel any pain at all. I still can't eat hard and chewy foods, but I'm enjoying the foods I want, although I'm being cautious. Since I usually don't experience much swelling, when I wear a mask, no one can tell but my cheeks still look a bit full. It doesn’t look that weird but it just looks as if I’ve gained some cheek fat. As for the facial fat grafting, I thought it was a bit excessive at first, but as the swelling subsided, it became more natural. I met my friends after a long time, and they couldn't tell until I mentioned it, but they said my facial contour has become more beautiful. They went crazy over my nose when they saw me. Already being satisfied, yet hearing positive comments from people around me is making my every day even more satisfying.
1 Months :
It has finally been one month since I had my revision rhinoplasty, 3-types facial contouring, and fat grafting. I visited the clinic for my one-month follow-up with the surgeon, and they confirmed that the bones are healing well and the swelling is reducing nicely. They said the surgery was successful. Although the residual swelling is taking longer to subside than expected, I am still extremely satisfied with the results. I wanted a natural outcome with some noticeable changes, but nothing excessive, and somehow the surgeon understood my ambiguous request perfectly. Whenever I meet my friends these days, they immediately notice the positive changes and compliment how well the surgery turned out. Knowing how my friends are usually really honest and straightforward with their comment, it truly feels like the surgery was a success. ^^ Now that it has been one month, I no longer experience pain or discomfort, and I am going about my daily life as usual. The only thing left for me to do now is to put makeups and take lots of beautiful pictures.
2 Months :
Now that I'm comfortably going about my daily life and staying busy, it's already been two months since the surgery. Even in the first month, the swelling was minimal, but comparing photos between the first and the second month, it's more evident that swelling has been steadily decreasing. Occasionally, friends who see me mention that my face appears smaller and it's quite amazing. Before the surgery, I never thought about tying my hair due to my face shape, but now I find myself doing it more often. My self-esteem has definitely increased, and I feel that I made the right decision to have the surgery at View Plastic Surgery.
3 Months :
It's been a fun experience to write reviews each month and see the swelling gradually decrease. Last month, I wondered if there was any more swelling to go away, but it turns out there was. Since one month after the surgery, I haven't experienced any significant discomfort. If I had to mention something, it would be being cautious when yawning and opening my mouth wide. The swelling in my nose has subsided, and initially, the tip of my nose was higher than expected, but over time, it has settled into the exact line I desired. I'll come back with more reviews after taking some more beautiful pictures.
4 Months :
At this point, it seems like most of the swelling has subsided. I haven't faced any disruptions in my daily life, and there haven't been any unexpected side effects, so I'm extremely satisfied. Most importantly, prior to the surgery, I struggled with editing my photos due to my face shape, but now I don't need any retouching, and I enjoy taking pictures naturally. While the decision to undergo surgery for facial contouring is not an easy one, I believe that individuals who have concerns about their face shape will be highly satisfied.
